# Hyperlane

> Lock & mint bridging - recommended for larger transfers and market makers

Hyperlane bridges assets into MANTRA Chain using a **lock & mint** model: your tokens are locked on the source chain and a corresponding representation is minted on MANTRA. This makes it especially suited for larger transfers where capital efficiency and a canonical bridge mechanism matter.

## Bridge with Hyperlane

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Bridge now**: [nexus.hyperlane.xyz](https://nexus.hyperlane.xyz/?destination=mantra\&token=USDC)

## When to use Hyperlane

* **Large transfers** (typically \$1k+) where you want minimal slippage
* **Market makers** and institutional flows that need a predictable lock & mint path
* Any time you prefer a canonical bridge over liquidity-based routing

> [!NOTE]
>
> Supported routes, tokens, and chains can change at any time. Always confirm details in the Hyperlane UI before sending funds.

## How it works

1. Open [Hyperlane Nexus](https://nexus.hyperlane.xyz/?destination=mantra\&token=USDC)
2. Connect your source-chain wallet
3. Select the token and amount to bridge
4. Confirm the destination is MANTRA Chain
5. Review and approve the transaction
